Have you ever considered a letter being art? Not the clearest form of art, but a very personal and unique kind of art. No random red square on white canvas... No it is something small and kind one has put efforts in for only you.
Letters nowadays aren't only old fashioned, they're also beautifully romantic, in the philosophic meaning of the word romantic. Not the cheesy stuff that romantic films show us every single time. The romantic haze of a letter I meant, is the haze the romantics from the nineteenth century looked for in paintings, poems and books. They wanted to live in this old world, in a dream world.
That is the kind of romantic I find in letters. Plus the fact that they're filled with words from those you like, those whom you don't oftenly see.
Do you ever write?
